About the Role:
Blast Off Bay in Goddard, KS is looking for a hardworking and reliable Grounds Maintenance team member to keep our property looking its best! This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in a well-manicured outdoor space and enjoys working in a hands-on, active environment.
Responsibilities:
- Mow lawn areas consistently to maintain a clean, professional appearance
- Perform weed eating/trimming along edges, fences, walkways, and structures
- Snow Removal, sidewalks, parking lots
- Maintain grounds cleanliness by removing debris and clippings after each session
- Operate and perform basic maintenance on mowing and trimming equipment
- Identify and report any grounds or property issues to management
- Follow safety protocols when operating outdoor power equipment
Requirements:
- Prior experience with mowing, weed eating, or general lawn care preferred
- Ability to operate walk-behind mowers, riding mowers, and string trimmers
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Must be dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
