About the Role:
Join the dynamic team at Blast Off Bay as a Houseman at the Hampton Inn Goddard! This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Assist with laundry services, ensuring all linens and towels are clean and well-stocked.
- Support housekeeping staff by delivering supplies and responding to requests.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks and report any major issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards throughout the hotel.
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience and provide assistance as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the hotel team to create a positive atmosphere.
- Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge in hospitality services.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring lifting and moving.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays.
